DIS/JOINT
a mini-mag for hybrids
DIS/JOINT is a mini-mag for hybrids, such as haibun, that focus on current sociopolitical events and topics. Published once a year, we aim to focus on themes from the calendar year for which you are submitting.
Editorial Staff:
Colleen M. Farrelly
Rowan Beckett Minor
Submission Period: December 1-31
Theme for Issue 1: Human rights topics from 2026. For example: anti-ICE/pro-immigration, transgender rights, reproductive rights, disability equality.
Who Can Submit: Anyone who writes from a place of authenticity. We seek both work from first-hand experiences and witness-based poems. Although DIS/JOINT is an extension of #FemkuMag, submissions are open to everyone, regardless of gender.
